ImageSilo is a secure, web-based repository that can hold your organization’s documents and provide access to your documents via a browser-based interface. An ASP model or web-hosted document management system offers a cost-effective, less resource intensive approach to electronic document management. The primary benefits of an ASP solution are two-fold:
- It eliminates the need for capital expenditures. Instead of allocating capital resources to purchasing hardware and software, you “lease” the web-hosted solution for a fraction of the cost.
- There is little to no impact on your IT resources. Web-based solutions are easily implemented. In addition, they do not require IT resources for on-going system hosting or maintenance.
To ensure the integrity of your corporate information, ImageSilo offers three-tier application security. Without proper clearance, documents remain invisible even to ImageSilo employees. ImageSilo’s web-based security management allows a corporate administrator to set up and manage users, groups, project access and document-level security. Audit logs are produced to monitor access and the activity of users. ImageSilo also monitors unsuccessful attempts to log into your repository.
ImageSilo protects the transmission of data between your company and ImageSilo through the use of 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layers). All communications, including logins, queries and results, are passed through a secure, encrypted connection. In addiiton, customers can take confidence in knowing that Digitech has successfully completed a Type II SAS 70 Audit on its software production processes, as well as the data centers which store data for Image Silo.
