Graham J. McClean, Chairman

Graham J. McClean is Chairman of D2Xchange where he also shares Chief Executive Officer responsibilities with D2Xchange President Nancy Sauer.

McClean has a long history of establishing and leading successful businesses. He served as president and chief operating officer of the Magazine, Catalog and Retail Groups of Quebecor Printing (USA) Corp., then a $1 billion division headquartered in Boston and the company’s largest division in the U.S.

Previously, he spent 28 years with Moore Corporation Limited, the world’s largest manufacturer of business forms and systems. McClean entered the company through an internship that developed into an early career in the sales and marketing arenas. Moving through various direct sales and sales management assignments, as well as some senior management sales and marketing responsibilities, McClean’s general management experience began as vice president and general manager of Moore’s U.S. package printing operations, The F.N. Burt Company in Buffalo, New York. Focused on high-quality custom package printing of folded cartons and set-up boxes, F.N. Burt was a well-known and respected leader in its market segments.

During his tenure with Moore, he was president of the Canadian operating units in Toronto, Ontario. During his five-year Canadian operating experience, the division expanded into new business and began focusing on value-added paper-based information products. The divisions achieved record sales and profits during those years. Through a series of strategic acquisitions, McClean led Moore into the records management business and quickly established the company as the largest records management provider in Canada.

Moving back to Chicago in 1988, McClean became president of the U.S. Business Forms and Systems Division, the corporation’s largest operating entity with $1.2 billion in revenues. In 1992, McClean formed his own corporation focused on providing products and services related to data and document archiving and retrieving in electronic and paper-based environments. Partnering with two other corporations, the development stage company began to pioneer the market delivery of a new national capability for document management.

Over his career, McClean has been active in various business organizations in both the U.S. and Canada and currently is an industry mentor to young college graduates interested in the printing industry as a career.

McClean holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola University, Chicago.
